Spring Break Papers is a publication that opens wide its budget and pages to one artist each issue. Always free, Spring Break is produced and disseminated in a city of the artist's choosing. Once an artist has been published, he or she switches hats and joins our curatorial staff, helping to shape the publication's future. We like to think of each issue as a portable solo exhibition in a paper museum. Spring Break Papers is dedicated to exploring how publications can better serve those who are actively looking for art and those who aren't.
The first issue of Spring Break Papers contained a series of drawings by Noah Furman and was distributed throughout the Chicago area Spring 2008.
